A Living Nightmare

You heard it correctly, if you don’t harness the Power that you have to control the outcome of your life – you may finish it very unfavorably. Let’s pretend for a moment that you really don’t know better about what works for you when we discuss sleep need. I need you to relinquish your mental power of authority during this reading.  Oh my, that in itself takes pressure off you doesn’t it?

The Power of Good Sleep

Considering the fact that there are over 70 kinds of sleep disorders and that doesn’t count other effects such as hypertension or diabetes that may be attributed to lack of sleep. We do know for sure based on research that those that sleep fewer than six hours have a greater mortality risk. Before I get into benefits of proper sleep please note that teenagers need about 9 hours and adults should be 7 to 8 hours per night. Yes pregnant women need more…

Changes Before Your Eyes

Getting enough sleep will make you a better parents/grandparents; workers; friends and just better people in general. You are less likely to get a cold if you sleep at least seven hours per night. But, more likely to gain weight with less sleep. Why? Because your cortisol levels drop which leads to a bigger appetite. Your metabolism slows down because the body is trying to preserve energy. Now you factor the effect on the hormones that send signals for a time to eat or a time to stop. This could get ugly.

Tell Me More

If we use the term athlete to refer to those (this should be everyone) that exercise regularly, then getting the correct amount of sleep is a must. Your physical and mental well-being during activity is greatly improved. And what happens when you work out hard often and sleep little? YOU GET SICK as your body continues to break down and you’re not allowing it to get to the repair shop (bed).

In addition, this lack of proper sleep increases the risk for certain cancers and faster tumor growth. By the way, longer sleep is related to greater sexual desire the following day with the likelihood of sexual activity. Do I need to repeat that part? Less sleep drops testosterone and estrogen levels. This is when the supplement DHEA the most abundant hormone in your body should be considered.

The Fix

We all know how Organic Sulfur gives us so much more energy – taking this too late may force you to clean your house at 9pm. But our adrenal glands are responsible for manufacturing DHEA and when the adrenals fatigue, adrenal hormone levels may become low which could be a source for problem sleeping. A magnesium deficiency may cause cramping leading to sleep discomfort.

Last night I slept 7 ½ hours and I feel great. I hydrated myself as soon as my feet hit the floor with my Organic Sulfur and pHenomenal water mix. I ate a very balanced breakfast with my vitamin and supplement needs. And as soon as I sign off I’m getting my workout in. After a busy bozoomer day, I’m off to have dinner with a good friend.

Family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life that want you in theirs.

I’m so blessed to have you folks a part of my life. Sleep well my friends.

Amazing things happen when we give our body what it needs.
And not so amazing things happen when we don’t.
