Four (4) Young Living essential oils that are 100% pure therapeutic food grade oils and are extremely helpful in dealing with seasonal allergic reactions are lavender, lemon, peppermint, and eucalyptus. Lavender not only relieves the nasal congestion and headache which are mainly caused by hay fever, it also builds up the immune system.
Apply 1 drop of peppermint EO to the base of your neck 2 times a day.
Add 1 drop of lavender EO to your cheeks, forehead, and sinuses as needed to soothe allergic reactions or headaches. Before bed, add a few drops to the soles of your feet.
Add 1 drop of Eucalyptus or lemon to your chest, neck and bottom of your feet as needed.
Your feet are the most porous area of your body so this area allows the ES’s to enter your body quickly to oxidize your cells.
Combine Lemon, Peppermint, and Lavender
Combing these three EOs is the best way to tackle most allergic reactions. Combined, they work as one of the most powerful antihistamines to bring down inflammation and other discomforts caused by your body’s allergic response. Here’s how to use them to find quick relieve.
- Place 1-2 drops of each of the 3 oils in a shot glass with water and gargle for a few minutes before swallowing. Make sure your oils are of a high quality and can be used internally.
- Place all the oils in a vegetable capsule and swallow if you don’t like the taste of the remedy above.
- Add all 3 oils in a tablespoon of raw honey and swallow for instant relief.
